Hello there! Welcome to Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers. It is the beginning of Year 2 for our challenge. I hope you are all enjoying what we have for you. So for today we are painting bees, in either a loose style or a tight style, the choice is yours to make.

Wow, it's already been a year, and I am having lots of fun trying to learn some new skills, I see I still have a long way to go. I would really love to get accomplished at that loose style of watercoloring. Here is this week's attempt. I do like the way the body of the bumblebee turned out, but I have some work to do on those wings. LOL

I do believe one of the things I am enjoying most about the WCW galleries lately is that everyone seems to be developing their own style. While we all watch the same video, our paintings are now each different and absolutely unique to us rather than a carbon copy of the video's artists as often happened in the beginning of this journey. I very often can tell WHO did a painting just by the style and brushstrokes . . . . occasionally I get one wrong but I can tell the "regulars".
Many thanks to the hostesses who put their heads together to start this challenge more than a year ago. You have made me stretch my abilities far beyond what I thought I was capable of!
