Hi there.
Was wondering if it is allowed just to "watch" what is happening. I have not participated in this kind of event. Actually, I haven't participated in any of SCS events! There is so much on this site, it's sometimes over whelming, but I love it.

Wow, today was the first day I checked out the scrapbooking threads and just in time to get geared up for VSBN, Yippee! I joined SU to start scrapbooking and 3 years later I have a Bazzion cards but, no scrapbook pages. LOL Thanks ladies for all your great posts & ideas to jump start my scrapbooking venture.

I've missed you guys too!! I may try to join in this weekend!! I'm trying to get a friend to come over with me and get some scrapbooking done! She looks at peoples' stuff on here, but she never joins in...so I'm going to see if I can't get her to join in with the scrapbooking gals!

Helen, you have to have each challenge done in two hours. And the deadline for uploading to be included in the judging, is Monday at 3pm PST. So as long as you can get your creations uploaded to the gallery by then, you are in!!!!! |

Hi! I am very new to SCS (as you can see by the # of posts I have!lol) and have never done a challenge of ANY kind. This seems like it will be a LOT of fun, and I would like to *try* to participate *if* my baby and husband will give me the time! I do have a question though... I've noticed this is a US site and was just wondering if Canadians are allowed to participate? Thank you very much.

Lynn, If you look at the main page "Virtual Scrapbooking Night". There should be a thread later today that says something like "VSBN Enchanted Weekend Challanges" Sorta like the warm up weekend. JMO. Our Fairy Godmother would most likly be better at answering.

Everyone can join no matter where you are from. That's the beauty of Virtual Scrapbook Weekend. You just have to spend 2 hours on each challenge and no more and upload before the deadline. My first VSNs I never uploaded anything, just played along. It would be difficult to hit the challenges on the right time from the UK because of the time differences but I would just do what I can at the right time and catch up those challenges missed when everyone else is sleeping. Just be sure to post before the deadline.

What sizes?
I am new to the challenges as well. And new to SBing... I have only made 3
6x6 pages ever before. I was just wondering if there was a specific size sb page we needed to make? Or can we just do whatever size we want to ?
TIA and hopefully I can get into at least one challenge.

Time question.
Okay. I just came up with another question as I was hitting submit. It starts at 10 pst. What time is that in Wisconsin CST? I never could figure out those silly time change things.

OF COURSE Canadians can play!!!!!!! EVERYONE can play!! That is the beauty of the Virtual Scrapbooking Weekend! You can join in when you can. Just spend no more than two hours on a challenge and be sure to upload your creation to the gallery with the challenge keywords and you are eligible to win some of our LOVELY prizes!!!
It's a ton of fun and we would love nothing more than for you to join us!! The more the merrier!!!
The challenges begin at 10am PST, 11am MT, noon CT and 1pm EST and will be posted every 2 hours!!
Also, I will be posting a separate closed thread with the challenges in it. Just look in the VSBN forum and it will be at the top, when I post it closer to start time. The challenges will all be posted in one thread. Then there will be a separate thread posted by your Fairy Hostess for that challenge where you can ask questions about that challenge and also post a link to your creation when you add it to the gallery!!!

Sorry, I almost forgot!!! There is no limit to the size of scrapbook pages that you do! You can do 12x12, 8x11, 6x6, 8x8, whatever size you like!! Just be sure to upload it to the appropriate category in the gallery!!!
