We often associate certain foods or restaurants with certain people. For me it's the Olive Garden and my fellow Military wife Corrine. We often went to the Olive Garden for all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks. Then I was posted away to where there is no Olive Garden but whenever I flew out to see my parents I would fly into Winnipeg and we would go for lunch. Now she has been posted to Germany. I miss my friend, the conversations, and the Zuppa Tuscana. I recently found a knock off recipe of the OG's Zuppa Tuscana and it brought back memories and made me happy.
So here is my challenge to you. Make a knock off. Find a page on SCS that you admire and copy it. You may have to tweek it to make it "taste" just right for you. Since the meal was soup, salad and breadsticks I would like to see at least three pictures to represnt the three items. But since it is all you can eat, you can definately add more pictures. Also, one of my favourite things about the restaurant was the grated parmesan. We are going to let embellishments represent the parmesan. You can add alot or a little. Make it as "cheesey" as you'd like. Bonus points for using pictures of friends together. Be sure to add a link to the page that you copied.

we're all having technical difficulties today...no worries. I have your thread stuck at the top and added your VSBN Title. To get your gallery, upload your page w/ your Key word. That will create the gallery and then we can add the link

Scrapbook goal: April 7/10 MAY /5 YTD 32
Very nice challenge! I too love the Olive Garden and my one friend always calls me to go with her since no one else in her family likes to go there. It's been quite a while since we've gotten "together" for a meal. I was actually thinking of calling her since DGS and DH are going on a 3 day cub scout overnighter and I could go without having a time limit in getting home!
I'll go through my favorites and see what I can come up with. Probably not tonight though since SCS is SO slow and I'm exhausted just sitting and waiting for things to happen.
It just took 22 minutes for my laptop to clear from the last reply I posted but it says on the post that it posted when I hit the reply button initially! go figure!
I just finished my page tonight. First I could not find the picutres I wanted to use. Then I could not find the stamps I wanted to use (still no idea where they are). Then I dicided to use some Thickers that had but didn't find them. When I finally had my pages done (and supper made, kids fed and put to bed) I was ready to take some pics of my pages to upload. Couldn't find my camera. Now everything is on the computer so I am ready to chat.

no, you have to refresh. Disregard the pm I sent to you about the master thread. I did it. It's been a long techie day and my brain is not functioning 100%. LOL!
Well, I love your tea for 2! My DD just had a tea party birthday for my DGD yesterday. She made a teapot cake. Can't wait to see it.
As for your day, sounds a little like my experiences in the craft room. I cut myself punching- how I don't know. In fact didn't know it until I bled on my project. Also, when taking photos, letters fell off titles and got lost. It took me 11 photos for one page and it still didn't come out right. What I have found is it is easier to scrap than it is to photograph and upload. Oh yeah, and then I have it all written up ready to submit and the whole thing disappears! LOL
Well, I am at least going to go thru the gallery tonight and find a page. This is a neat challenge!

Your scrapping day sounds like my week. I am a Nursery School teacher and this was our final week. I have been trying to get 45 memory books together which I did. Then I forgot them at home. Had to drive back home to get them but I was not late for my program.

You are a lot busier than I am, so I probably had a tame week compared to yours. My experiences are just me, because we are retired and empty nesters of course! But I forgot to tell you I have ruined two snail adhesives tonight. Don't know how you can do that. But, i have a friend who might be able to fix them for me. I am just glad I have extras.
Well I actually found a page by LMM that I like in the gallery. It only has two photos, but will make it work for three. Am looking at my papers and photos now. I thought I would lay them out and then tomorrow after church and dinner will begin on it.

It is amazing how many pages you can get done when some one gives you a challenge to kick start you. Unfortunately, I have not even had time to look at the challenges so I will have to try them later this week. Good luck with them.

I wish I had a scrap room. My stuff is all in the basement but the lighting sucks so I drag everything upstairs to the kitchen table. Typically the one thing I need is still downstairs so I am constantly running up and down the stairs. We moved almost a year ago and I have done very little scrapbooking. Our old place had the computer and my scrap stuff in the upstairs spare room. It was perfect. Never thought I'd miss Military housing. WE definately have regrets with buying this house. It's not truly what we want but it is our first house. My next house will have an upstairs scrap room.

My scrap room looks like a paper bomb went off tonight!!
My daughter was stamping next to me and her area looked like a bomb had gone off...I couldn't handle it any longer and made her clean up her space before I kicked her out of the room...she is a messy stamper and I can't handle it when things get too cluttered.

I was searching for photos for a challenge last night. I have them in several spots too.
It seems I just have to walk into my craft room or open a drawer and it explodes, kinda like those jokes where you open a container and stuff springs out of it.
You would not want to scrap with me then. I am a messy, disorganized scrapper which is probably why I couldn't find anything tonight. I need to try to be better organized.

My brain refuses to function properly for me so I am calling it a night. I am almost done with me page, just trying to figure out how to do stitching around a circle in my digi software. I've done it before but right now just can't seem to think how.

I did a DPS for your challenge, so have two pages to show. I have more than 3 pictures per page, each page has pictures of our best friends and us; I used a few embellishments. I scraplifted from Lela, as I loved her layout that she posted here in this same challenge.
