I have to share a secret with you�I was a Sales Director for The Pampered Chef for 8 years�and I don�t like to cook! Okay, it�s not that bad�I actually enjoy �party� cooking because everyone gives you such wonderful compliments whereas the family�not so much. Everyday cooking is boring to me but when I host a party or go to a party, I go ALL out�I LOVE TO COOK THEN!
I will have to say, my go-to recipes are from The Pampered Chef because they are always the hit of the party�they never fail! I usually bring deserts: Red, White & Blueberry Pie, Pumpkin Pie a la Easy, or Banana Cream Brownie Squares. Lately, I�ve been making main meal recipes: Taco Lasagna (my husband�s favorite); Mandarin Pasta Salad,7-Layer Southwestern Salad�or my latest favorite Grilled Steak & Potato Salad! These are often my go-to items for my family too. I�ve attached a few of the recipes for you to peruse and enjoy but be sure to look up the others because they are YUMMY!!!
So this is my challenge to you: 1) Pick �Party Pictures� for this challenge and be sure to use �Party� somewhere in your title or journaling. 2) Select one or two �go-to� embellishments and use them on your page. 3) Pick one of the recipes mentioned in the above second paragraph and create your page around it. You can use the title for your inspiration or you can select the recipe ingredients (from one recipe only). To use the recipe ingredients for your page check out this link to see if it's listed; or, you can Google the Recipe title: Pampered Chef Recipe Resource 4) You must list in your posting what recipe you selected and what you used to represent it�be descriptive!

Those banana cream brownies sound yummy! I can't see the recipies it says I dont have permission...:( Great challenge!

In your post the recipes you listed for us to use I can not get into them. I can go to the site that is fine...

It's something with permissions on SCS when I click on the links that you provided.

Okay, I've tried attaching and it looks like it worked on my side. Let me know if you see them. I only had a few to attach but you should be able to go to The Pampered Chef recipe site or do a search. Remember, this part does not count towards your two hours :-)
I got the same error message on SCS. It's listed as a jpg file attachment.
Maybe exit the site then come back in...otherwise I'm not sure how else to do it. I saved them on my hard drive and uploaded them as a .jpeg and they seem to be attached....hmmmm

I have my recipe picked out but I may have to put this and the next couple challenges a side for a while. My daughter and son inlaw just called and they are coming over for a while. Nice to visit but don't they know this is my scrappin day..........lol

Are there supposed to be pictures with the recipes on the Pampered Chef site? I didn't see any when I was looking through the kids section.
And go figure...every time I try to scrap, DGS has some sort of problem that he just can't handle on his own. First it was "can I paint on the back porch?" Since it is going to be torn down soon, I decided he could go ahead and use tempera paint and paint to his heart's delight but of course I have to get everything out and then help put it away 1/2 hour later. Then he comes in from biking to let me know the newspaper lady didn't throw us a paper (just everyone else) and THEN he comes to tell me there is a baby bunny in our front flower pot ON our front porch. And there was...would love to know how it got in there! I took lots of pictures of this incident and now he just can't open a bottle of water...ugh! Can't wait until DH decides to come home from work so he can handle all the emergencies/problems!

Aw, poor gma...he's just looking for attention :-) My DH is doing something similar :-)
well, it looks like the storm has come and gone. It did rain pretty hard though. I have moved upstairs to the living room with my laptop so I'll probably do digi now.

I guess my boys don't know about "Scrappin' Days" either...although last night the party was in the yard and they handled ... I scrapped. Other than to help get the food in when it started raining, LOL
I have a nice large family calendar in the kitchen and I mark it on there...not to mention I tell them too...still...

I'm having problems getting started on this challenge but I do know I'm going to use the Red White and Blueberry Pie as the inspiration for the page! And I know what series of pics to use so it's a start anyways. Anytime now DH should be home with Pizza for supper.

Pizza sounds yummy to me! You'll have to get that recipe for the Red, White, & Blueberry pie...it's soooooo easy to make and DELICIOUS! I made it for Memorial Day and then a few days later for our end of school bash...not a drop left!
All those yummy recipes reminded me that I got veggies from the Farmers Market yesterday so I went and made potato salad for dinner. Pork Chops on the grill and still have watermelon from cutting it up at lunch...mmm
I'm now searching for a sketch to put these Bday Photos into... any minute now...LOL
