im such a newbie, ladies and i apologize but..... what is this cooking VSBN? sounds intriguing and i would like to know more! so, anyone that can shed some light for this novice, i would be appreciative. :D

We hope you will join us! "What's Cooking" is our theme for VSBN. We'll host several challenges and all of them we'll use that theme. It gives the hostess (Sous Chefs) ideas for challenges for a variety of scrap pages. Feel free to browse through our last VSBN pages to see how a theme works :D Our last theme was "Find Your Groove" and we had lots of "groovy" challenges

Just might have to schedule this as a MUST DO. I have a bunch of cooking pages of Adrian... as well as The Many Faces album... what her face looks like after eating certain foods.

VSBN stands for Virtual Scrap Booking Night (but it's not just at night--it lasts the weekend, then we also have an additional week to complete any or all challenges we didn't get to do when they were originally posted!) We usually do VSBNs 3 or 4 times a year.

Now that you've posted here, you should get updates as they come in. The Splitcoast home page has a link at the bottom of the beige column on the right.

Join us -- it is FUN!!!!

Hope you can join us. But aside from VSBN, we also have many weekly challenges posted here.

Many of us frequent the Scrapbook Goals thread where we chat and comment on each others' pages (challenges or otherwise) and there is also a weekly challenge posted there every Thursday.

Occasionally there are challenge prizes offered (if so, that's usually during VSBN) but most of the time the reward is getting another page done!!!

Anyway, join us for some or all of the fun!!!

It's very fun! I'm SURE you'll have a great time using the "recipes" the "Sous Chefs" whip up for us to try to create "yummy" scrap pages! We're glad you're going to come and play :grin:

I'm looking forward to trying your challenges on the 7th! I haven't been on in such a long while. It's about time! My friend loves SCS, and I just couldn't stay away any longer since it was sounding like I've been missing out on so much!

It's going to be so fun! The Chefs have cooked up some yummy challenges that are sure to whet your appetite.

Thank you Linda. I will be watching for it. I am ready for VSBN! I warmed up with VSN Mini this week-end! So am in the mood! Got my room cleaned up from the pirate party, and now am going to lay photos etc out for VSBN!

I really think I should give this a try too.
I don't have too many gadgets to play with :sad: but a mini VSBN seems a good place to start, after all I do drive a mini cooper so I should feel right at home with all things mini..

Yes, you should give it a try! It's a lot of fun and helps get those pages done. You don't need lots of gadgets either. there is a supply list posted for the mini VSBN. hope you get to join us!

I think I am actually going to be home on Saturday!
