As many of you know, GinaK's father passed away last night. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. I work at Gina's store in McFarland and am on her design team, so it's been a little busy this morning trying to see what I can do for her personally and work-related.
On this sad day for our company, I am happy that many of you are working feverishly on scrapbook pages for all the challenges. This is why we scrapbook, isn't it? To remember our beloved family and let them know how much we cherish them...
I'm excited to see what you'll all create with your photos.
Oh, I am so sorry to hear this! Gina and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers!

I am so sorry for her loss. She is in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank God for a woman that makes us scrap summer pics in winter! whooo hoo, gotta go look at pics for this one.
Didn't see the previous posts on Gina's dad, my condolences. I am excited about the challenge, but hope not to be disrespectful. May God be with her and her family at this time.

Yes it is. I did see on Gina's Blog her post about her Dad. I did say a prayer for her and her family. She wrote a sweet post how her Dad is now in a better place.
It does remind us why we're HERE, scrapping these WONDERFUL memories of our family and friends!

Please be excited about the challenge! That's what we all want - Gina included.
I just wanted to let everyone know why I was MIA a little earlier today to be able to post my challenge.
I can't wait to see your summer pictures! I'm so SICK of winter!!!!
Please extend my deepest sympathy to Gina and her family.

I recently started actually adding the date to my layouts as to when I made them. I looked in the SU catty, but didn't really find what I was looking for, what do you all write? For example, I did a layout for this challenge, I want to make a note of that. Any ideas?
Yes it is BALMY here today isn't it???? MY DH just informed me that the sun has heated up our sunporch to 79 degrees... weather.com says it's 37 outside.....

I write "secrets" for my pages on the back side. These can be unimportant details, or pieces of the story that I want to keep just in the family. I often write my supply list, who I submitted it to, or if it was for a special event. The info is there, but no one has to see it.

Im gonna take a break and see what kids are up to. Be back for next (and final, boo-hoo) challenge!
K, I'm back. Just couldn't stay away! Can I just say how glad I am I got to do this? I have really gone outside my own box this weekend!
I have done a ton of single pages- usually I am a DPS kinda girl.
I am using some long-hoarded embellies that I usually reserve for cards.
I have scrapped some older photos that I haven't looked at in ages- I usually just concentrate on staying current.
I FINALLY started my wedding album (after 8 years of marriage)!

Bekah - I am usually a dps girl too! I have done some great single pages that I'm going to put in their own special 'my favorite pics of you' album.

Bekah - I had noticed that you belted out a lot this weekend WAY TO GO! This has been good for me as well as I will increase my speed and finally be able to say that DONE IS DONE

Liz- I was thinking the same thing! Just a kind of "random" album. Most of mine are yearly, chronological albums. It will be fun to have one that contains all sorts of memories!

I love to write if I did the page at a crop or a challenge or other just fun info I like. When I look thru the books, I seem to remember when the pages got done, at least at this point, but someday I may not so I wanted to keep that info! ;)

The reason why I never liked 1 pagers is because the colors don't 'flow' from 1 LO to the next (right beside it). Guess I'll have to get over that now!

LOL! I can find it in my gallery, but it is not showing up in the JAN09VSBNP gallery for some reason. I retyped the key word, but oh well! I am over it! Thanks for your help though, Ky!
