So fun! Hope to get to participate some, but I know that I can never keep up with all you fast scrappers! I have to rush to get done in the time limit which doesn't leave time for the fun chatting! Sorting pics now so I'll hopefully be ready! Still have to organize scrapping room.

Never done the VSBN but have done several VSN's. I think I will try to do a challenge or two that weekend. I do like to scrapbook but don't it as much as I should!
Yes, the times listed are the times that each challenge will be posted. Are you SURE that you can't put the kids to bed at 4pm?!!!!!:-D
hehe, I m just so thankful hubby is off that weekend so I can play. I hate when work takes him away so suddenly, and the fact my dd thinks sleep is overrated.
SO THANK GOD FOR A HUBBY THAT WEEKEND!! I have had it on the calendar, so he will just have to deal with it, *Unless of course his dad flies out to go to the boat show, then hmm, maybe they can take Maddy with them??? :twisted:

We have to go to Barrie to see my husbands family that weekend. I don't want to go in the first place but was sad when I saw this was the same weekend. I hate to miss it. Have a great time girls. Maybe I could hope for bad weather so we can't go. LOL I don't think we are going till Saturday at 5 a.m. (pur usual time) so I might play for a while on Friday night if that is when my husband decides to go. Time will tell. At any rate. I can't wait to see all of the amazing artwork I know you ladies will create.

Not new to scrapbooking but new to the virtual world. Would someone mind describing what I may expect and how I might prepare for the upcoming weekend event? DS's back at college and he's encouraging me to dedicate more time to the things I love. Great timing!
Yahoo-but it looks like I will be scrappin Friday on Sat when my students are competing in mock trial and then maybe catch the 9 and 11 challenges and play catch up when you all are watching the superbowl!!

On the times posted in the first post of this thread we will have a scrappin' challenge. A challenge to create a page or two based on 'rules' made by the hostess. It's come and go as you please and you don't 'have' to do all of the challenges. It's really a chance to get caught up on scrappin' and to chat with friends. Some of us do more chatting than scrappin' during these weekends, but others can really knock out the layouts. They all look great too so it's a good place for inspiration as well. Sometimes they will post a supplies list ahead of time so that we can get supplies ready. It really is a lot of fun.
To get ready I would say to make sure you have lots of pictures to choose from, plenty of paper and any other supplies you like to create with.
I hope this help some. It's late for me and my brain is starting to turn to mush ;)

Okay - I've looked at a Greenwich Mean time calendar & I think there is 13 hours difference between my time & your EST time. So I have to come here 13 hours after 5.00pm my time.....I hope;)..... Looking forward to it - what ever the time!!

guess the baby clothes will just have to move to the nursery! haha
I'm here and I'm ready!!! I know it's not Friday yet but I just had to start stalking!!!! I haven't even got a page done toward my goal for this month yet...I've been guarding this weekend like a hawk!!!! K, off to go stalk through the rest of the threads....

I've been doing the same, I better circle it big time on my calendar to remind hubby, darn it I am scrapping this weekend!! And as much as I can! At least I will have tomorrow to clean up the basement some, really can't work down there at this moment!

I guess I've been a little out of the loop, because, my goodness, Darcy's pregnant!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I'm so excited for you! Huge congratulations (sorry they are so late along!) :oops:
I am going to be able to play a little! I haven't participated in a VSBN for awhile so I'm excited! I get the morning "off" tomorrow so I'll be able to do some of the challenges and any that I don't get to tonight. yay!
Any tips for getting better prepared for the challenges? Are the challenges for both pages with px and pages without?
That is my question too - I have not done this before. Do you have to include the pictures on the page to play? Or can you just get the layouts done. Finding the right picture is where I get hung up. I have my photos prinited at a local camera shop where they pay attention to the color and saturation. If I am going to scrap I like to have the best quality pics but that means I dont have them available quickly.
I think this sounds like fun but being a newbie am not sure what to expect.
