Arrow One-Lined Sentiment Dies

Some friends and I are looking for sets of dies that will work for one-line sentiments for cards (Cuttlebug and Bigshot.) There are so many dies out there, it's hard to narrow them down! Ideas?

Thanks, ladies!

I have this set by Hero Arts and find I use it a whole lot:

Oops, haven't had enough coffee today. I just now re-read your post and found it said "dies" not stamps!

I do have some dies like that but can't remember the names. I'll check and post them later.

A number of the sentiments in the Hero Arts set Bugga mentioned fit inside Spellbinders Ribbon Banners. I use them quite a bit.

I actually have tons of sentiment stamps, I'm looking for basic dies (probably long width and 1/2"-1" or so height. For sentiments like Happy Thanksgiving, etc. Preferably when we could have 2 layers.

I have this die set and use it a lot with sentiments. When I want to layer it, I just adhere the sentiment strip on a piece of card stock, and narrowly trim a border by hand:

Another thing I do with sentiments, if they are really small, is stamp them and then use the SU slot punch upside down so I can see to center it. Then adhere to card stock and trim a border. Here is an example from my gallery:

Hi There - Balloons by buggainok - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I think I made the fancy border on this one from an old, unnamed set of dies that I've had forever.

Your card is so cute! I do have the SU punch you used. Guess I need to put on my thinking cap!

Thank you for the sweet comment! I make quite a few cards similar to that one, with a generic sentiment on the front. I leave the inside blank, and then add a sentiment when I need a card for something specific, like a birthday, or cheer-up - get well. Sometimes I print the inside sentiment on a liner, and attach it inside the card.

Check Penny Black, Technique Tuesday, Impression Obsession, and Cherry Lynn.

Simon Says Stamp has some great sentiment dies as well. Check it out here . They also have matching stamps for some dies.

Usually it takes between 3-5 business days for the orders from SSS to ship out. If you don't mind that, they are a great online store. I purchase a lot from them.

Hugs and smiles
