Hi, I watched a video of a new octagonal template for stamping circular patterns and now I can't find it. It was called a Tondo but that's not the correct spelling. It's made by a well known stamper. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
I like the look of it but it's very expensive IMHO specially when you add postage to the UK. I will probably make one of the other templates instead. I'ts not something I'd use every day.

Yes. It produces the same result through a slightly different method.
The advantages of the Tond-Oh! as I see it are that you don't have to keep moving and re-aligning the paper and that you can use a slightly larger piece of paper because it can go right to the edge of the Tond-Oh! With the wreath builder your paper has to be smaller to allow for the frame round the edge.
They are both good ideas developed from a concept that has been around for a long while. :-)
I just discovered a new company as well as another rotating system...plus the stencils in this system are similar to turn about stamps. So kind of an all in one system.
Ardyth did a great vid on it.
If people like cute mermaids-she has several sets where they are doing things other than swimming.
This reminds me too of a card I made years ago with the octagon in mind, but it was with a cut out image (or you could use a punch, but that would take some mathematical work, or finicky trial and error). As you can see I did not have a "Happy Father's Day" stamp. Remember the paper snowflakes we learned to make in elementary school?
