I have the Mega scalloped circle that you can buy, if you like. I have one too many. Other than that you can get them at www.uchida.com or joann's sometimes, too. I also know you can get them at www.1stopsquare.com

There is a link in this thread asking about the scalloped oval punches. Check it out: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
The punches are by Marvy Uchida, they are hot, hot, hot right now and alot of places are out of them. There are a few different sizes and they are called Giga and Mega scalloped punches. Hope this helps. I too am looking for them but I don't want to pay full price. Hoping I can use a coupon at my local M's when they get them back in stock.
Do they come in different sizes? I am unfamiliar with this one, but love the look it gives, here's another card I love from Poster: emilymomto3boys//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=407693&cat=7236
I buy some of my punches from Fran. Here is her link for the Marvy punches. Very nice lady. I have been buying from her for several years with no problems.
I also just ordered from Fran at Frantic Stamper. I order the Mega and Giga scalloped circles. She is a great person to do business with. She is very knowledge and extremely nice.
After unsuccessfully trying to find these at online stamps stores I stopped at The Enchanted Cottage in NC on my way to FL for Thanksgiving and she had an amazing selection of the Giga and Mega punches including the scalloped ovals. When I told her the how excited I was to find them she said to call her - she will ship items.
When choosing a Marvy Uchida punch, I would highly recommend picking a Clever Lever punch over the standard. These are designed similar to SU punches, and they punch much easier. I have the scalloped square and the scalloped oval...now I'm on the lookout for the scalloped circle!

Okay, I decided not to wait. I ordered 4 punches from 1stopsquare.com (thanks Keva ). I got the scalloped circle and oval and the solid outlines to mount inside those. They have FREE shipping for orders over $48. I am a sucker for FREE shipping, so that is why I went with this source. I'll let you know when I get them and how fast delivery was.
I just ordered the circle, oval & scallopped punches from www.uchida.com yesterday. They are $20 each, with free shipping on orders over $40.

I have seen so many nice cards here done with a Scalloped Circle Punch.
It must be a big one. I guess at least 2,5 inches in diameter. Does anybody know from which company it is or where to buy? :???: :???: :???:
It's Marvy Ucchida. They're a hot item. As of yesterday, Joanns.com still had some. They come in different sizes too. The purple one (Mega I think or is it Giga?) is the largest and the pink one is one size down from that. The purple one is approximately 3" accross and retails for about $20. Joanns, as of yesterday, had it on sale for $14. They also may still have free shipping for orders over $25, so if you order two sizes, you should get free shipping. There are many other posts on SCS too about where else to buy the punches, but I don't remember the store names off hand.
Thanks a lot! Since I am living in Germany it is a long way to Jo-Anns... :-D
But I will look for someone over here who sells MU punches and maybe they can make special orders!
Thanks again!

In the UK Woodware make them and I just got one of Ebay UK for 8 including postage, it was the next 2" as I already have the 3", but they did have the 3" on UK ebay! :-D
I got mine from Amuse News. When I spoke with Heidi yesterday, they even had the giga scalloped oval in stock. They ship by 2-day USPS too. Not too long of a wait!!!!

Check out this website. It lets me add them to my cart (no message about being out of stock), but I haven't completed the purchase process ('cause I don't need ALL of them)!

I have no personal experience with that website, but in the following thread, lisa posted something about them (see post #18): Need help locating Scallop Oval X3 *MERGED* <--click!
I noticed a card with the stamp set song birds uses a Marvy Circle Scalloped Punch. Where can I find this?
Personally, I don't have any of these scalloped punches, yet, but I know I've seen the Marvy Clever Lever Punches at Michaels. Their selection is *very* limited and haven't seen any scalloped punches.
Also, please note that there are 2 sizes of the Marvy Clever Lever Scalloped Circle Punch (info from the MarvyUchida website):
I just got an e-mail from fran at franticstamper.com, she said she is expecting a huge shipment of over 500 punches in early Feb!!! She has fantastic customer service.
However, I did already order them from scrapbook-creations.com this morning before I received her e-mail. I haven't got a message from them saying their on backorder. Fingers crossed.
I know this isn't as easy as a punch but I have been able to get a somewhat similar look by using our corner rounder or slot punch. Two scallops of either punch measure about 1 1/4 inch so if you can plan your sizes it can work and it gets a little easier with practice. This worked especially well when I used the corner rounder to make a scallop around a little paper quilt made of 1 1/4 inch punched squares. the card is here: Punchy scalloped baby quilt
It does take more time but there is also some flexibilty ...and it gets easier with practice!
I'm just reluctant to invest in someone else's punches just in case we get our own in the next catty.
It seems NOBODY had the GIGA scalloped oval in stock so I just ordered it from 1stopsquare.com. There was no backorder note so I am hopeful. I have the Mega and love it but need the GIGA for layering.
Impress rubber stamps also carries them....you may have to ask over the phone, but I bought one not to long ago and they carry every punch shape and size known to man!
