Would appreciate recommendations for a white (or off-white) heavier weight (80lb.+) cardstock that has a canvas/linen texture. Trying to make white on white die cut frames - the choices are overwhelming for a relative newbie. Thanks in advance.
I don't have any recommendations for a linen type cardstock, but if you have trouble finding any I have a suggestion. Stampin Up has an embossing folder called "Subtle." if the pieces you need are that size you could use the embossing folder to get the texture you want. Just a thought.
Yes, thanks, muskrat, I’d seen that and still might try it but I thought the card stock might work better for different sized cards.

Try scrapbook.com: Bazzill White 12 x 12 Cardstock Pack 25 Sheets. Scroll down to see a video that better represents the texture. Other places sell Bazzill, as well, and they have several different textures and a variety of colors.
Paper Source! They have lovely textured paper and cs in a big variety of colors. I was lucky to live by a "real" store for many years but now I use their on-line store. Love them!

I bought a package from Marco's Paper a while back that sound exactly like what you are describing. Nice weight, in a white that isn't too stark but definitely white, not off white. Makes a very elegant card base too.
I really like the linen texture on cardstock and have thought about getting the SU! Subtles embossing folder, but it is just a little bit too big to fit in my Cuttlebug. I found this thread about cutting down folders:
Since I wasn't sure whether or not the current embossing folders SU! carries could easily be cut down, I thought I'd see if anyone has any experience with this.
TIA for any information and/or thoughts related to this topic.

I use Papertrey Ink linen cardstock. It comes in white and cream colors.
Try Papertreyink.com and click the "Paper" menu item then the "Linen Cardstock" link
I have ordered from https://www.paperandmore.com/ several times and highly recommend them and their products. They are wonderful to deal with and they offer samples! It's so much better to hold the paper or cardstock and maybe even work with it a little bit before buying a large quantity.

Yes! This is my new favorite folder. It turns any cardstock into linen texture. I must with water to get even more texture. It’s great.
I also use Papertrey Ink linen in Fresh Snow and it a great linen look with nice weight even for card bases. The price is also right at 40 sheets for $10. They have excellent cardstocks at a reasonable price - heavy white for card bases and shimmer paper in many colors. I love the onyx for punching Halloween bats.
