Altenew cubes

I am having the darnedest time opening these. Any suggestions?

I would like to see a resolution to this too. I have about five of the cube sets but many are really hard to open and I get ink all over my fingers sometimes as a result of using too much horsepower. I guess this is a better problem than the PTI cubes with the loose falling off lids that have to be rubberbanded. The Hero Arts and Versafine cube manufacturers seem to have figured it out. No problems with those.

I have a mixed bag with the Altenew cubes. Some sets of colors have lids way to loose and other sets are super tight. Then I fumble around trying to open, dropping the inks on the carpet.....grrrr.
