I recently found 3 bottles of Zia's Metallic Flows I had stashed away and had forgotten about. Does anyone know how to use them or know of a web site that explains how to use them? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Zana Clark retired years ago and her company Stamp Zia sadly is no more. She was one of the first to give us amazing mists that didn't clog and had gorgeous colors.
I was lucky to take one of her classes years ago and we used the metallics with the mists. It was in her class when I learned to use found items for stencils. My finished project is in the pic below.
I'm assuming that what you have is mist since that is what I have. If so, you can use her mists like any other mist.
Thank you for your answer. I do not have mists but just 3 bottles of what looks like ink. One is silver, one is gold and one is bronze. So if I wanted to mix it in a mist bottle, would you recommend I try alcohol and liquid hair spray? I've made mixes like that using powder eye color.
I still have a lot of her sprays and gorgeous stamps. I also have the metallic flows, and I believe we used them like the metallic alcohol inks. We'd spray the watercolor on the paper, and then dab a tiny bit of the flow on here and there. It was an accent. Hope this helps.

I would try water first since my mists are water based with metallic.
I really miss Stamp Zia - took some classes with her at a convention and purchased the water color sprays and some of the metallic flows. Would have loved to get refills on some of the watercolor sprays. We used the metallic flows in class by just adding little drops of it or squiggly lines on the paper. You just need a little bit of time for it to dry.
