I love all of my stitched frame and layer dies. If I could only have one set of dies I'd choose my basic larger set of Spellbinders Card Creator dies, because I use them the most.
Card Creator die sets. I use the largest of one set or the other for the cardfront of pretty much every card I make. I happen to like the "Spellbinder edge" on a cardfront. It looks unfinished to me without it.
That's if pressed to choose. If you eliminate the CC dies, I would not be able to pick among my dies. There are too many I love.

The die I have used more than anything else is the rosette die; just cut 17 of them to back up glittered letters for a Church banquet. Great for Christmas packages, etc.
Dies!! There are so many cool ones...two of my favorites are the Cheery Lynn French pastry doily die (I have the tiny version of this as well) and Spellbinders pinking circles. I like the doily because you can use dp to make your doily any color or pattern. The pinking circles are fun and a bit different than your typical scalloped circles.
I agree that is a hard question, but my number one die is Tim Holtz large tag...I've cut hundreds! My Mom and I do a lot of crafting together, so we try not to duplicate something the other one has-but this one is the exception. And I try to have several cut out and ready to go at any time. Love it! I wish he would come out with an even bigger size. (we also have the two smaller tags from Tim, adorable!)
My Lifestyle (formerly Quickutz) Nesting Circle dies. There are 21 dies in the set so I use them for card bases as well as layers. The biggest one is 5-1/2 inches and the smallest one is about 1/3rd of an inch. These are my go-to dies
Love love love dies although I love to fussy cut too. Recently I have had more fun with using an eye glasses die set. I cut them out of foam and paper, stack them and add clear dimensional fluid to give them the plastic look. Had fun making men's cards and little girls faces with them wearing glasses. I also made a column of them in different colors that was cute too. The name of the set is Old School Glasses by SimonSaysStamp, if you want to check them out. They have two sets of two that size so check both out. The man style glasses are 2.75"x1". Nice size to make a statement on your card.
The two sets of dies are the same except for the sizes. Set B is the inbetween sizes of the Set A. Sorry for jumping in and answering for Dini but the inquiring minds might want to know sooner. LOL
Have to giggle at myself...I do that often(heeheehee) because I just decided that my favorite die is whatever die I did not purchase but was given to me. That is my favorite.....the ones that are FREE!!!
If I had to choose only one die, I think it would have to be this one from Frantic Stamper. I have used it for Christmas and Sympathy cards. I pop it off the base by cutting it from craft foam and adhere the one cut from cardstock to it. It makes a really beautiful card almost effortlessly.
