Default Video set up

I'm wondering if there's a guide on how to set up to make tutorial videos? I set lots of them on line but not sure about the set up. I tried to Google but I don't know what exactly to Google.
I've spent some hours trying to set it up but I'm still not getting right.
Do people use their phones to record?
Is there a site or thread for this?
Thanks!
Lisa

I managed to figure this out and was going to delete, but I can't figure out how to do that 🤦‍♀️

I'm sure others would love to learn how to do this as well! Everyone has a different setup.

I have a security camera pole mount on my ceiling, so my video camera is suspended above me and I don't have a stand taking up room on my desk (trust me, there is no room for anything beyond what the camera can see! shove, shove, shove the clutter...). I use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing, and do voiceovers because I get too distracted and flustered if I try to talk my way through a video.

I love the idea of an over head ceiling mount!
Thank you for sharing your set up. You had me laughing with your description of what the camera doesn't see as it sounds exactly like my own space! 😆 🤣

Thanks for recommending Premier Pro. It's part of the Adobe Creative Cloud, but I didn't even know about it, LOL!

I found a cheap overhead document camera on Amazon...if was around $50. It sits on my desk and is great for filming. I also have an actual video camera suspended on a tripod from the ceiling ( benefit of being in an unfinished basement). I know others who use their iphones and ipads to film with. The cameras on the recent models are probably the best camera's I own.

Lydia (understand Blue) describes her process here-she uses her iphone:

I think she also has a discount like to the stand?
