Default THIN clear plasltic sheets??

Hello everyone.
I make 2.5 square boxes . They have a window cutout on the top. I am wondering if anyone knows what I can use for the "window". I have run out of what I was using and not even sure where I got it from. Recycled, what ever it was.
I am looking for something in the approx thickness of the sheets that clear stamps come on. Any thicker I feel would be TOO thick.
Its hard to judge thickness simply by searching google.
Any suggestions??
Thanks so much for your time.

So clear acetate, then. I only use mine for shaker cards but I'm sure there is someone on this forum that also uses it for boxes or other 3d items.
I hope you find your answer!

What about window sheets, like Judikins Embossable Window Plastic: https://www.amazon.com/Judikins-Embo...004IXSXTK?th=1

I have always heard good things about this product.

Hero Arts also has acetate sheets: https://heroarts.com/products/ps762-...065ff1e8&_ss=r

Just a couple of options. I do not use either so have no first hand experience.

Overhead transparency sheets, mylar stencil sheets, thin clear acetate sheets, or recycled packaging are a few possibilities. Clearbags.com is another good resource.

I get mine from a local art store. They don't sell any stamping specific products but are a good source for things like this. Ours has 5-6 different weights too.

Great suggestions above! Crafter's Companion also makes an acetate that is supposed to be scorable and creasable, if you want to make boxes. For windows, I use recycled packaging, transparency sheets, and the thin plastic packaging from stamps and dies. I use thicker plastic envelopes and sleeves for storage, so I recycle the packaging wherever I can.

I buy clear PVC sheets from mybinding.com - you can get different weights.

I have so much saved already that I tend to throw out that stuff from stamps now. I could mail it to you if you want to PM me your address. Might take awhile before I have a batch but I am happy to do it.

Sorry I am only getting back to this thread now but again I thank ALL OF YOU for your input.
A lot of great resources out there but again, I am not sure which of those choices would be equivalent to the thickness of those that stamps come on. Its hard to judge via the info that is listed for the item where it gives thickness.
I did manage to find some small "overlays" in a box of misc stuff so I have been using those.
However once I cut off the designs I am left with enough for 2 small 2.25" pieces.

Wavejumper, I have sent you a PM if the offer still holds.
