Looks like the one from Joann's makes a finished card size of 4 1/2 x 3 1/4. I believe the SU die makes a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card.
Yep, there is a big difference in the card size...1 inch smaller in each dimension for the one you chose from joanns.
Sizzix used to make several movers and shapers dies like the one from SU that cut the card paper and the smaller window die at the same time. It seems that those have been discontinued and they are going the route of this movers and shapers tray: Sizzix Movers & Shapers Accessory - Base Tray, L | Sizzix.com
and you can put ANY movers and shapers die in it to cut. Tim Holtz has BUNCHES of choices for those dies. You aren't limited to the ones that also cut the card out at the same time, which requires using larger paper than you need.
I just wish SU would sell that curly label die separately! But I'm not spending the $40 plus for that M&S die thingy to get the curly label.
