Smile Substitute for EZ Mount?

I just got a new sheet of rubber stamps in but need EZ Mount to use them. I got them off of Ebay so EZ mount was not an option to buy at the time.

Is there something I can use besides EZ mount to try them out with my acrylic blocks?

I live an hour from any crafts store, so I'm always looking for other solutions!LOL

What I LOVE is Tack n Peel. You buy enough to cover your acrylic blocks - and you don't need ANYTHING on the back of your rubber or acrylic stamps. I store my UM rubber in CD cases. Takes less room and is easy.

I use my SNAIL adhesive...just roll a few lines across the front of your acrylic block or across the back of your rubber. It works like a charm for me!

You can also use a couple of strips of double stick tape on your acrylic block. It will hold them on just fine. I would watch though, the surface you stamp on. Without a cushion, sometimes the bare rubber on an acrylic block will stamp an uneven image.

I usually stamp with my cardstock on a foam mat or at least a magazine, rather than a hard table surface.

I second the vote for TackNPeel. It works great and you can use bare rubber or stamps with foam. I also second the use of a pad of some kind when you stamp. I bought an exta thick piece of fun foam and it makes a big difference.

Thumbs up

Tack N Peel gets my vote! Now all I do is cut the stamp sheet and I am ready to stamp. Soooo much less expensive than buying all the EZMount and storage is a lot easier, too.
