SU Butterfly Punch: What else can it make?
The butterflies are beautiful. The pansies are gorgeous. But what else can be made from the punch shape?
Same question for the owl punch, if you want to weigh in on that.
Thanks!

For the owl, you can make ghost, penguin, pig, dog, chipmunk, turkey. I'm sure there's much more. These are just off the top of my head.
HERE's a great blogger who's super creative with her owl punch.

I asked this question a while ago and was told to do a search in the gallery under "owl punch". Holy cow!
So far I've made a ghost, penguin, pig, reindeer, monster, alien, turkey, bat, tulip, mouse, and a couple of Ugly Dolls.

I did a gallery search for "butterfly punch" and didn't see anything other than butterflies. I'll try searching for the owl punch. Can't wait to see the ones you mentioned!

when I was reading my way through the forums, I clicked on people's galleries and also their blog if they have one. I cannot remember the members screen name but her name is Kim and here is the link to her blog, she has loads of free tutorials and paid ones too, loads of punchart goodies for cards, and most are made only with SU punches,, it is great!! The link is Paper Punch Addiction

The butterfly punch can make a flower. I made a card with 4 punched butterflies stacked and connected eith a brad in the middle, then fanned out.

Thanks Mary for adding my blog.
Let me give you direct links to all the things I've made using these punches - they are both AWESOME punches!
Butterfly
Owl
Butterfly is one punch I couldn't do without - I may only be using a part of it (think bottom half for sunglasses) but I use it over and over and over. And yep - when it came out I almost didn't buy it 'cause I'm not a butterfly type gal.

Ellen, you are sooooooo talented with those punches! I feel like I'm operating at a PunchArt kindergarten level; while you're at the Graduate level! I bow down to you.

Thanks Barbara and Annie, I appreciate the compliments. It is a weird talent I have - fun but strange and not too useful. Hubby would rather I be a good cook.
I'm glad you liked my punchies.

Ellen, your punchies are soo clever and delightful! I can't get over how perfect Little Miss Backsides is on all of your cards!!!
You keep on punching. I'll send your hubby some cookies.
And thanks to everyone who posted. I'll be checking out all the sites and cards you listed. That owl might have to come live at my house! The butterfly is here and under-utilized, at least until this weekend!
