I have both... The Wizard was my very first choice and bought it when they came out. It's built of metal, all parts are metal and very sturdy. The wizard is universal which mean it accepts all dies. If you like to smash bottle caps and use in your projects, the wizard is the only machine that I know of that can smash bottle caps like butter when they go through the wizard. And I love the pressure of it 3000lbs of pressure, when you use your cuttlebug embossing folders, the wizard really gives the best impression. I got the cuttlebug as a gift and use it too. But always seem to go back and reach for my Wizard. I think the cuttlebug being plastic kinda scares me, cause plastic can crack. I love both machines, but like I said, I always seem to reach for the cuttlebug.
You have to make the decision based on what your likes are and also money wise as well.
