I am not sure about the website but I bought clear stamps for $1 at Michaels just to see if I liked the clear ones. Either I am a wood block stamper through and through or the $1 clear stamps suck. The ink did not bead up on the stamp but the detail that I am used to just wasn't there. They don't stick to the clear blocks either. I don't know if it's just the cheap ones or if CTMH ones do that too. But I guess I just like the pull out and use stamps not the pull out and some assembly required. I do like the storage space and the being able to see where you are stamping. But I have a stamp-a-ma-jig so I will deal.
Hope this rambling is some sort of answer to your question.
The stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps are equal to quality (in my opinion) to CTMH. I haven't had any problems with ink beading up on them. The only thing I would like to see improved is the packaging...but that would make them more expensive I'm sure. So I'll settle for the packaging it comes with. They are on clear sheets inside a sealed baggie. Then I just put all my sets in a bigger ziplock bag to keep them all in one place. You could probably use one of the round things with clips and hang them from there too. Or a 5x7 photo album and slip them in the pages maybe? Hmmm...now I'm thinking! LOL.
As far as quality I'm quite happy with mine. And they had new releases today!
I've found the quality to be really nice. They aren't "crystal clear" like the Studio G stamps at Michaels/AC Moore. They seem to have more tooth, like the higher quality acrylic stamps from other established companies. They do take dye inks really well. Like any rubber stamp, a really solid image will do better with a good rub on denim or similar conditioning when brand new. I'm a happy customer!
I have a few from cdstamps.com (I believe that is the Clear Dollar Stamps you are talking about), I find that I get a better image from the solid ones with craft ink, but the line ones are great with my classic ink. Very cute and great prices! My friend Diane has some cards at the top of her blog made with stamps from them http://dianesdesigns.blogspot.com/ . HTH!

Just to clarify Clear Dollar Stamps -- the company -- is not the same as the clear $1 stamps that you can buy at Michaels, ACMoore, Etc.
Clear Dollar Stamps are manufactured using high quality acrylic (photopolymer). Their prices and customer service can not be beat. I have been purchasing stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps since 2004 and have never been disappointed.
It seems there is some confusion between the company the OP is talking about and the cheap-o dollar stamps you buy at Michaels and other local stores.
You are asking about the quality of currently introduced stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps, right?
The stamps have quite a strong smell to them when you first get them, a sign of good polymer quality, as other stampers have pointed out in previous threads regarding clear stamps in general. So, I would think they are just as good as other established clear stamp companies that you see here on SCS. I have had no problems inking them up in dye inks, hybrid inks or craft inks.
It is recommended to season all clear stamps by doing a precleaning and drying on your stampin scrub, or do the eraser thing. But I have never doen the eraser thing. I just clean them on the wet side and then on the dry side of a stampin scrub cleaner, in fact this is what I do with all my new clear stamps no matter what company they are from.
Wow! Thanks for that bit of info! I never knew to season my stamps and have wondered why sometimes they just don't work well the first time. Thanks!!! Pam

yes that is the company that I am talking about --didnt mean for it to be confusing...I thought by capitalizing the title it would be clear.....just to clarify even more...yes the company I am asking about is the one that frequently has the advertising banner on the top of the SCS pages...
It sounds like they are really good in quality...so I am going to place an order
Thanks to everyone who responded....my question has been answered
Have a fantastic day!!
I have been very happy with all of my stamps from them. I think they stamp with a crisper image than a lot of clear stamps. I have been ordering for several months now and havn't been disappointed with anything. I have also been very happy with the shipping time and customer service.
I have a few of their sets and have never had any problems. They are great stamps and very reasonably priced. I need to order some Christmas ones soon too. They usually send you a paper catalog along with your order too, thought that was great since you can see every image when ever you want.
I got my first order a few weeks ago and was NOT impressed with the quality. The customer service and fast shipping times were GREAT tho. I guess I am just spoiled with my acrylic stamps and I was expecting a more higher quality product. :(

Thanks for the link as I've never been there before
Oh... I season my stamps by furiously rubbing them on whatever I'm wearing

what are you comparing them to?
I like their designs but haven't bought yet so I would be interested to know what exactly you mean?
i bought all the sets that were at joannes for a dollar made my inkadinkado, and in my opinion, I think these are great quality. The ones from Michaels i don't have lluck with , but I htink the inkadinkado ones are comparible to papertreyink. I think they ink up well.. just mytwo cents
I've been very happy with Clear Dollar Stamps. As another poster said, they are similar in quality to CTMH - and that's a good thing! I'm planning to order again soon.

I recently read a suggestion to "season" your clear stamps if the dye ink beads up by rubbing them with a white eraser. I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully it might help if you've had that problem with any of the clear stamps (there are definite variations in quality of stamps & imprints!).
I have a few sets and have been very happy with them.. Especially the Sometimes You're the Bug set. They work very well with Palette ink, but they do stain just as badly as any other clear stamp would do.
