Default purchasing chipboard

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy chipboard--6X6 would be nice but other sizes would be welcome too. Thank you!

I just bought some on Amazon last night. I think they did have 6x6.

I've just recently gotten into using chipboard and have purchased most of it at Hobby Lobby. They do have various sizes, 2 to a package for $1.49.
One of our local scrapbook stores will cut whatever size you want. They charge about 50 cents for a 6x6 piece. I don't know if you have an LSS near your or not. I do want to do some looking around online for a better source myself. We'll see what I find!

I recently read (on another group) of people ordering here: chipboard - Walmart.com

You'd have to cut it but the price is good.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. We don't have Hobby Lobby in town but do have a Michaels. I've been unable to find it there which is why I was hoping to find a good reasonably priced on line store. I will try Amazon.

You might want to give ebay a try, there are several buy it now options and some even have free shipping.

After doing a little online browing, I've discovered that BinditAllHomePage, which is the retail version of Zutter, has all their chipboard (a variety of sizes) on sale; some as much as half price. They also have free shipping through 12-1-11. I think I need to hit that site again and do a little ordering.

Joann sells the 12x12 chipboard for a really good price, especially so when it is on sale. The smaller Joann may not carry it, but you can always buy it online. Wait for a 40%+ sale and free or low shipping and load up. The package I see at my Joann has the regular color and black (maybe one more color, but I'm not sure). Regular price is about $9.99 for whole pack (which is about an inch or so deep, I think).

how thick do you need the chipboard to be? Your local pharmacy may be able to help you out, the labels they use to print on come sandwhiched between 2 pieces of chipboard slightly thicker than a ceral box.
