Does anyone happen to know... does this particular light use batteries or a cord? I'm looking for something portable to use when we come to the States in Dec. - I absolutely cannot color without an Ott Lite!

Mine looks like that and runs on batteries or you can plug it in. Mine is model #v49112. I've had it for a couple years and the rechargeable batteries are still working great. HTH
I should clarify...mine looks like the one in the link that Erica posted...
I just went ahead and ordered it, so I guess we'll see! I wasn't sure if the Craft task lights were different than the work ones. Either way, it will be a huge help, and I love that it folds up so nicely. I got the orange one because it was called "Oh My Orange!" and that made me smile. I'm funny that way!
Glad to see this post. I purchased an Ott Lite at Costco ( Canada) the tulip style for my desk. However I am now wondering where do I buy the repacement bulbs to have on hand
