The old yearly catalogs are fun to go back and look through every once in a while. The thing that strikes me (about the book itself, not the stamp styles and how much products have changed, that's another story!) is how easy the catalogs are to read! Granted my eyeballs are ten years older now, but boy I love the black ink for the stamp images -- I've suggested to SU many times that they go back to black ink; it makes it SO much easier to read. |
Unfortunately, I don't think you will ever see them go back to this. The grey is MUCH harder for someone to scan into their computer, and then use the scanned images as "stamps" by printing them with their printer.
