New inks at Lavinia plus gel plate Q

So Tee Gee Dee let us know about a week ago that Lavinia Stamps has gone to the mfgs of the now discontinued Colobox inks and created their own ink line called Elements. (in my old post on announcements that they were closing Clearsnap)

And I noticed something at the end when she does a press demo with the inks:

The gel press she is using seems to be mounted on an acrylic something? Maybe a cutting plate for a big shot? Have people seen before? Seems kind of handy? I have not done gel press yet myself.


I looked in their site and they don't have that item.


What I did notice though is they sell a gel plate conditioner product I have also never heard of before. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I'm excited about the inks... hopeful that Jacquard will start putting out their own inks with the Clearsnap formulas soon!

I'd never heard of the Ranger gel press conditioner - it has mixed reviews.  I was hoping to find a MSDS to know the content, but no luck.

I think that base is an acrylic block?

Good eyes! Looking at it again I see the ALL and Create on one end! Cool! 

Given that it is 3 1/2 wide and she had overhang on the sides...I am going to guess that was a 5 x 7 gel press.

I am getting ready to  order some of the new inks.  My local supplier has started receiving her inventory from Lavinia Stamps. delbellosdesigns.com  Can't wait to try them. Losing Colorbox really impacted my gel printing. My ink pads were drying up fast and couldn't find the refills anywhere at that point.
