I don't have the SU branded one, it's from We R Memory Keepers, but they also make the one for SU and they are the same except for the color.
I. Love. It. Works great for envelopes, and there are tons of tutorials for making boxes and file folder cards, etc. with it. Absolutely positively recommend it.
Didn't think I needed it because I have a diagonal scoring board; however, the envelope punch board makes it soooooooooo easy. I'm glad I added it to my arsenal of stamping tools.

I should have added this link last night: PUNCH BOARD . It is like 23 pages that started when the original board first debuted at CHA. It takes a while to get thru the thread, but there are hints for using the board and links to other projects you can make with it.
I will add that I was quite surprised at the price that SU! charges for the board - it's the same as the MSRP for the WRMK version. I guess I just expected that SU would mark it up a little more than that.

I love it for two primary uses -- for odd size envelopes for scrapbook pages to hold stuff like programs, journaling tags, etc., and for square envelopes that seem to be hard to find. Plus I love being able to make an envelope using paper to match the card.

I got the WRMK 40% off from Hobby Lobby with a coupon. I think it was around $12.00. I know the measurements are off for a typical a-2 card. Someone here figured out the correct measurements. I have not used mine since I first got it and became very frustrated!

I believe that's the only difference between the WRMK version and the one from SU! - Stampin' Up's version has the correct measurement for an A2 card.
Just in case you don't feel like searching for it, you start with an 8" square and your first score is at 3.5". I've tried these measurements and the envelope is identical to the invitation envelopes from Staples.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my SU envelope maker. Used to do a lot of scrapbooking so my inventory includes a ton of printed papers (not as thick as card stock.) Have enjoyed using it for envelopes.
Also made a Valentine that incorporated an envelope. Made a small-sized envelope from SU double-sided DSP, attached it w/top flap open to the front of card, and hearts in various sizes and colors were seemingly bursting out of the envelope (hope that makes sense.)
You could use this same idea for shamrocks, flowers, butterflies or any # of other elements popping out of the small envelope on a card front.
