I can't believe I hesitated for so long. I finally found a good price online and ordered. Eversince it arrived, I've been finding ways to use it daily!
I have the MS and score pal too. I love the MS one because it is really fun to make those accordion fold circles that are so popular. Score pal is also great fro boxes and other fun stuff. I guess both have their pro's. I'm keeping both.
I couldn't live without oxygen and my ScorPal. I have been razzing a friend to get one but she didn't have the money for it. Then I saw a lot of stuff on the MS one and told her if I was doing it again I would probably try the MS. She texted me two nights ago saying she was ordering a MS one. I figured if one board is good, two would probably be even 'gooder!' So I had her get me one also. She brought it over tonight and I have been waiting for hubby to go to bed so I can play without his blowing a brain artery! (he already thinks I have too much junk! Not me! Never!) Anyway, he just dozed off, it's almost 12;30 but I can't go to bed without trying it. So excited.
Oh my goodness! I shouldn't have started with the MS score board. I played with it last night and didn't think I was going to like it too much. Tried it again this morning and have been making things ever since. Hubby just came home and asked if we had anything planned for dinner? Ahh...hellooo! Wanna eat a homemade card? How about an envelope? Maybe a cute little box?
I am loving it. However I don't think I can give up the ScorPal. I can see I will use them for different things. I guess if I could only have one it would probably be the MS. I didn't find the 1/8" lines hard to use at all. It just takes different pressure then the ScorPal.
After reading everyone raving about this I went and bought it @ Michaels with a 40% off coupon. It was 19.99 and after the coupon it was 13.11. With my receipt was another coupon for 40% for next week.. I think I'll get the MS circle cutter, anyone use it and like it?
I just saw some MS scorboards at our local Wal-mart and they are about $20. Not bad. But at Micheals you can get them for the same price but with a 40% or sometimes %50 coupon.
Does anyone know where I can get sizes and instructions for other size envelopes? The MS scoreboard only came with directions for one size, but I am wanting to make larger ones for a special project.
YouTube videos aren't an option for me. I have slow dial up connection yet. I can, however, view the tutorials like we have here on the resource pages. Those don't take hours to download. I just want to make some other size envelopes and need sizes. Also, anyone know how to use the envelope tool? The one envelope I can make, you put the tool clear up in the left hand corner, but I am assuming you will need to move that to make other sized envelopes?
My envelope tool has 8 different sizes put on it. I'm confused as to why you can only do one.
Because I never thought to turn the thing over and look on the envelope tool! Thank you!!! Now another dumb question...does anyone know the sizes of the envelopes in inches? They list the envelopes as #1; 4 bar; A2; A6; A7; A9, but I would like to know what the finished size is.

I made one of each of the envelopes to have as "samples" for this reason! I had no clue what an A6 was. LOL. I will try to remember to measure each and post later. I'm not awake enough yet. ;)

I have a wonderful chart that I am sure I have in a computer file. It lists sizes of envelopes and card sizes. I can't do it right now, but I will find it and post it for you in a day or two.
I am trying to upload my favorite chart, but I don't think I am doing it right. Could someone tell me how I can do this? I have two charts that I think would be helpful to you, so if I can get this figured out, I would be happy to share them with you. card and envelope sizing chart.docx
Ok, so that looks like it might have worked:p. I will try another one. Please let me know if you are able to see them correctly, and if not I will beg for help from someone on here that knows what they are doing!
PS; These files were shared and I did not keep track of where they came from, so thanks to the original posters of these files.
Thanks annie! They both worked. One was a jpg file so it must've been scanned in as a picture. I can read it if I enlarge the screen. The other is a Word file (Word 2007 and newer) so I could open it and save it. Thanks again!
I bought my score board at Michael's and I love it. Unfortunately my Michael's says they cannot apply the regular weekly coupons to Martha Stewart items. I waited until I had a Martha Stewart Craft coupon. I probably would have bought it regardless. I really like it and use it more than I thought I would!

Does your coupon specifically say you can't use it on Martha Stewart items? My Michaels allowed me to use my coupon but I can't remember if I used a Michaels coupon or an ACMoore coupon. They take each other's coupons and I have used a few ACM at Michael's, but never used a Michaels at ACM yet. I would think if it didn't exclude MS items, it should have been allowed and I would have pointed that out. They probably would have changed their minds if they knew you would pick it up elsewhere, but our ACM and Michaels are less than a mile from each other so competition is huge. I love mine and use it a lot now that I found some things to do with it!
After all the posts I have seen about these, I finally convinced my hubby I really needed one. Of course it was so I could make an advent calendar and he helped me pick out paper. I had been on a strict "Don't buy one more thing" but got this one and am loving it! As it is Dec 1st I better Finnish that advent calendar today!!
