I saw on an email about a new, almost waxy-finish paper which was great for use with colored pencils. Then I erased it, and don't know which company sells it. Does anyone know? Thanks.
Got an email today from the local LSS about different papers for different mediums. They are very enthusiastic about Matte Dura-Lar for PrismaColors. They showed a comparison with Classic Crest and the Dura-Lar looked more vivid and had a smoother blend.
A friend suggested the Strathmore Toned Gray Mixed Media paper with a vellum surface. It comes in a beige color also. It has quite a bit of tooth to it. I tend to use Polychromos the most and it works well with those. I am also interested in a white cardstock that works well with colored pencils so I am staying tuned to see what people have to say. My white cardstock has too smooth a finish.

Thanks for the suggestions about the Bristol XL and the Crescent. What I had been using didn’t allow me to build up shading layers and I often want to work on white rather than colored cardstock.

I just tried the Strathmore Vellum Bristol paper with my Prismacolors, and LOVE it!!! It has a bit of tooth, but is smooth enough that you don't have to "scrub" to get solid color. Best of all? I got it at Michael's--either on sale or with a coupon--I forget!

Can you go into your trash to find the email or did it auto delete already? They usually wait awhile in default mode.
I have this in gray and like it a lot. It comes in beige and now blue. Works really well for both Polychromes and Prismas. I'm thinking the blue will be especially nice.
