an easy way to store scraps is in a gallon ziplock baggie by colors.

there really isn't any one right way to store scraps. you need to first look at how you store full size paper... vertical in files? then perhaps the scraps can be in a baggie in the front of the file
horizontal? then the scraps in a baggie on top?

good luck finding what works for you! its always an adventure. I think I tend to reorganize far more than I actually scrap!! lol

I put the pieces in a bag and keep for someone that uses scraps! I was so thankful to find someone that likes to use scraps. I also give her my negative pieces from using the Spellbinders dies. I was keeping the negatives separate but after so many knew I would never use them. It is so good to find a good home for everything because I hate to toss things!

I put mine in hanging file folders by color (the file folders are stored in the milk crate units.) Very reasonable and very easy to find what you need.

PaperTrey is doing a scrap challenge this month, so many of their design team members are showcasing not only how they use scraps, but how they store them. Links are all on Nicole's blog, Capture the Moment.

I put all of mine in ziplock bags by color and then put them in a rubbermaid shoe box. When I'm scrapping all I need to do is take the box out and my scraps are right there to grab.

While I am working at my table, I put all my scraps in a small show box, then when I accumulate a sizeable amount, I put them in color matched folders, like the ones you get in the school supply aisle. Then blue goes in the blue folder, red in the red folder, and then I have some paisley and plaid printed folders that the dsp goes in. All the folders stack neatly in a rubbermaid tub. The system is cheap, and works out well in my space. I have a whole room, the stash of stuff just keeps expanding.
