I pull apart an SU catalog each time a new one comes out, cut off about 1/8" to smooth out the edge I tore and then use my BIA to bind myself a copy. I saw some bound catalogs that were given out at convention and I wanted one, too! It's very simple, but takes about 45 minutes for the whole process. I love to have the bound copy on hand to enter orders (I'm a demo) and to CASE the card ideas. Everytime I take it out, people ask me to do one for them, too!
Spiral bound is the way to go, when you use your catalogs to stamp lift.
Lays flat.
Also Laminating the front and back, for those of us who look at our catalogs over & over, & ...

oh sorry. I have no idea about anything TAC. I've only known about SU! or going to a craft store.
Does TAC have the pink one??? and do you know what the shiiping rates are?? The shipping rates i've seen online are quite high.
Hey Sue,
No We don't have the pink one. Maybe next catalog that comes out in January, they will offer the pink one
Shipping rates are 10% of your order. So $100 order, shipping rate would be$10

Actually as long as the customer goes through a demo's website they can do everything their self. Purchase product, get hostess rewards and have it shipped right to them. (I think the rewards are just called something different online since your not actually hosting a party.)

Its so funny that there are all these other companies out there but I guess as soon as I found SU! I fell in love and never thought to look somewhere else!! I know there is a memories something or other but I always thought it was mostly stickers not stamps so years ago when I started I just never looked into anything else! How do you like TAC, karen?

It was driving me nuts so I had to look it up online the rewards are called Stampin' Rewards at a party its called Hostess Rewards. Just had to get that out there! :-D
Oops!! Karen I love your book!!! I have been considering getting a BIA, but not sure how much I'd use it. But after seeing your project, i might just get one anyway. I want to wait to get the pink one.
You can bind with a crop a dial too and save $60. Tutorail on my blog..scroll down for it.
Best,
Lindsay

I Love TAC! I first joined for the discount (30% personal, 25% commission)
and low minimums ( $100 every 4 months to stay active)
As a stamper, I Love the deeply etched rubber, and they have great Specials!
Since joining, I have made some money, recruited, and am now striving more into making it a business

It's true that you can bind with a CAD, but trust me (I've done it both ways), it is a great deal easier and faster to use the BIA. My crafting time is limited, so anything that saves me time tends to be worth the money. JMHO
The big perk of the big bite is that it can go further into the page. It has a six inch reach that allows you to set eyelets, snaps and grommets in the center of a 12" x 12" page layout! It will also "sit" on the table

Big bite sounds cool! I only got my CAD i'd say about 6 months ago and I've been bugging the DH for the BIA so if I ask for something else I'm just gonna get the "why do you need this stuff!" look I might have to wait until I get the BIA in my hands before I ask for something else!
My husband plays golf, an expensive hobby.
He doesnt say a word about my scrap & stamp purchases.
Also since I'm a demo, I write off part of our phone bill, internet, computer, etc. He hasn't figured how to write off any of his hobby

I'm in love with my BIA, I saw a lot of nice projects coming along this theat. Love the gatefold card from Beate, I'm gonna try that one for myself. Thanks for the inspiration :-)

My son is 15 months and since he was born I quit my "real" job and stay at home with both of our kids. Since then stuff has been extremely tight. I'm also a SU! Demo but 5yrs in I still don't have a customer base that makes any money. I can't even "write off " the stuff like you can. I usually make my own min. which upsets my DH.

I am my best customer.
TAC's $100 every 4 month minimum eases the financial stress, so I can enjoy my hobby/business
