Does anybody have the BIA Idea Book?
If yes, was it worth the moeny?
Thanks,
Karen S
I read somewhere on another thread that the idea book was not worth the money. Sorry, I don't exactly remember why. I somewhat think it had something to do with not giving too many instructions to do the projects. I'm sure you could do a google search and get alot of ideas, and instructions! Hope this helps
Oops!! Karen I love your book!!! I have been considering getting a BIA, but not sure how much I'd use it. But after seeing your project, i might just get one anyway. I want to wait to get the pink one.
I love my Bind It All as well. My two favorite projects are coaster books and photo books- hubby prints out 5x7 pics, I create covers and bind them together for great little travel books!
After seeing one used in person now I of course have to have one. I put it on my birthday list and emailed it to Husband. If it doesn't happen, I'll order one for meself!

Colleen,
do you have a pic you can share of the coaster books?
Thanks
Karen S
At first, I didn't know what a BIA was until I saw a project done with it, now I'm on a pre-order list for the pink one!! Also, not sure I want to get the idea book.
For Christmas, I am using the coasters to make calendars. I am going to go ahead and fill in birthdays and such and include them with card sets with my grandmother, aunts etc. I am also going to make coaster cookbooks with the holiday menu in them.
I have made other types of books with my BIA but I have made tons with the coasters.
I have some great ideas for xmas gifts with my BIA. I'm making little albums for all the kids in my dayhome filled with pictures of them and their friends that i've taken over the last year.
Idea Book- skip it. It was given to me as a gift and I feel bad that the person wasted their money- some great ideas but not very instructive and nothing you couldn't find somewhere else.
I attended a class put on by the Zutter Zisters using the bind-it-all. It was great. We made an album out of old CD's. They also had a wall hanging made with old LP records (for you young ones, that is a huge cd) Three of them put together with a picture of Elvis on the middle one. Elvis memorbilia on the top and bottom albums. Just great. I make albums for the students at school that I mentor. My grandchildren make their own albums with it. Get the picture, I just love it.
The BIA is a great machine. I have the new Pink V2.0 and the pink bag to match! It is so much fun. Not only am I using it with my crafting but my DH had a presentation he was going to take to 'staples' to have bound, I was like 'think not' and asked him if he had a second copy. (knowing he'd be pleased with this thing). I assembled a plain cover, embossed the company logo and BIA with the inside pages. Took less than 10 minutes for a 45 page document. and it looked very professional. When I told him the very low cost specs for the machine and wires I think I'll be binding more stuff for him.
My new machine even came with a DVD full of how to tips, facts and great ideas!
First, it's been a while since I checked back on this thread so a big thanks to those who have complemented my Christmas Wish List. I'm currently working on the design for a new wish list for this year.
Also, just a quick note for the new BIA users who want to make goodies with the coasters- start watching when you eat out. Many places use those chipboard-ish type coasters for your drinks and don't care if you take the ones from your table home. This is a quick and CHEAP way to get new alterables for covers for your BIA little books.

$49.99 (a 10th anniv. special price) at Bonniesbest.com comes the machine and 3 wires and 4 chipboard coasters. They also have package deals. but this seems to be the best price I've seen. I also saw some on e-bay but I never done e-bay.
