Can anyone suggest some good fonts to use on greeting cards? I need them to be save to use on Windows 7 and from a safe web page.
Thank you,
Nancy

I don't have recommendations for specific fonts (I think that is a matter of personal preference), but here are two sites for fonts that I have always found safe and reliable. I know a lot of other people here on SCS have also used them. They work with Windows 7, too.

Handpicked free fonts for graphic designers with commercial-use licenses. | Font Squirrel
DaFont - Download fonts

Hope that helps.

Hi Nancy,

I print a lot of sentiments on my computer and have some favorite fonts. I find I get confused if I have too many, so here are some favorites I use a lot.

Frosting for Breakfast
Boingo
Black Boys on Mopeds
Chopin Script
Miss Smarty Pants

They are all from DaFont - Download fonts

This is an easy site to use. You can see a sample of each font before you download it, and they are all mostly free. And I also have Windows 7 on my computer.

Here is another favorite from a different site that's also free:

Grand Hotel

Just remembered a few others that I use a lot. They are from Creating Keepsakes, and all of these are nice handwriting fonts:

Lately I love to download new fonts. If you search in Google for "best handwritten fonts" or "best wedding fonts". " best calligraphy fonts" etc - you will get links to several blogs to direct you where to download.

So far I haven't purchased any but I really wish I could afford.

This is also a good website to start with.

This site has been very helpful to me. Many of these free fonts have been incorporated into my silhouette and they turn out so nice.
