Default Favorite adhesive for adhering felt to paper? *merged*

I haven't found something that I know will stick and not peel off. Any suggestions?

I've used the Tombow Multi glue on felt with no problem. You have to "press" it on to the paper for a couple of seconds to get it to hold but so far, so good!

Thanks Kay - I tried Tombow and it didn't work for me, but I didn't press and hold. Will try that!

Try a very small dab of E6000. That stuff holds EVERYTHING together. You might have to press it down for a few seconds until it grabs. It only takes a small amount. Make sure you get the decorator kind with the small tip because it's not as stinky!

I use it to adhere Primas & chipboard to journals and those suckers aren't going anywhere!

I hope it works for you too.

I use Fabric Tac glue from the sewing dept. Works great, dries clear and doesn't warp the paper if you don't use too much

I actually paint on a little of SU crystal effects. I don't use it directly out of the bottle as that it will seep through the felt if you use too much. But painted on it as worked well for me.

I've used large glue dots as well as Stampin' Dimensionals. There are a couple of cards on my blog this week, that I made using felt.

I use zip-dry. It works well with just about anything.

Default How do you stick felt?

I bought a Martha Stewert snowflake felt border (http://www.michaels.com/online/produ...ame=ms0127.jpg) and silly me thought it would be self adhesive! I was wrong!

How on earth do you stick this stuff down! I made a card last night and its all falling off already! I tried glue dots but because its so delicate you cannot put glue dots everywhere and they were sticking to my fingers more than the felt! So I tried sticking with wet glue on the other parts. Its not working!

Please help me!

I've used the Zip Dry glue and it seems to work pretty good.

Truthfully? I used a *shudder* hot glue gun. It's the only thing I've had success with.

Do you have a glue called Copydex over there? It's a sort of latex, and I've always found it quite good for felt. It takes a while to dry, but once it sticks it stands up to quite a bit of wear and tear. As in flowers and so on to decorate bags.

Thank you for your replies! I will have to search those! I would use a glue gun but I have not had good results, often end up with burnt fingers or glue on the carpet lol!!

For felt items I have used Tacky Glue and it seems to work fine. I too tried to use glue dots, and that was more of a pain than it was worth - took forever to try and get them to even stick to the felt.

Hmm not liking the xyron! Took me an hour to find the sticky cartridge in my room lol (see how often I use it!) and then when passing it through it got tangled up and then was hard to pull it off without breaking it and there was glue everywhere, more on my fingers than the felt! They really should pre adhesive these types of things!!

I bought some spray adhesive to try with felt. Don't know yet if it works.

Sorry about the xyron not working well.:

How about that red tacky tape they use for beads or regular double sided tape like Scotch brand? Maybe just use small pieces every few spaces instead of using a whole strip?

 Sorry about the RED tape- I just looked at the picture you showed of the felt!!! The red stuff would show A LOT!!!

I wonder how "Queen" MS uses it?

I've got to check her craft site to see if they suggest something!
