Does anyone know if Michaels sells the BigShot? My Cuttlebug is on it's last legs and I have gone through my Grand Calibre and Vagabond (whimpering so much about the Vagabond - l LOVED it!). Our nearest Micheals is 40 miles away, so I don't want to waste a trip....yi yi yi!
My Michael's usually has them in stock, but I would call the store first to make sure. BTW, you can't use a coupon on any die-cutting machines or accessories.

Our local Michael's stores tend to carry the Big Kick rather than the Big Shot. But the two machines are the same, except for the appearance - kind of like identical twins wearing two different outfits.
The Big Kick I bought in early 2007 still works perfectly, so IMO you should have no concerns about quality if you get a Big Kick vs. a Big Shot.

Thank you! That was my next question.....I called my local Michaels and they only carry the Big Kick....but I wasn't sure what the difference was! So thank you!

I just read the Michael's coupon and it excludes silhouette and circuit products, but doesn't mention die cutting machines otherwise. So I would ask!
I stand corrected. They must have changed that, because the coupon exclusions used to include "all die-cutting machines and accessories," and I remember not being able to use a coupon on a regular-priced Sizzix die that I wanted to buy. I'm glad they changed it, and I'm sorry for the misinformation. Sometimes their system is inconsistent, because the 40% coupon I had on Friday worked on a Silhouette cover. Go figure.
Bonnie you should call Sizzix aka Ellison about your vagabond they will REPLACE it.
They'll replace it at no charge if it's still under warranty, and will sell you a replacement cheaper than replacing with a new one. If mine goes out again I will not replace. I purchased a Big Shot Pro, and rarely use the Vagabond these days.

Need to clarify: they'll sell you one at a discount if it's out of warrenty.
