I've been busy clearing out/organizing my craft room and went through my Oxide Pads, swatching and labeling the sides. When I opened my Mustard Seed Pad it looked like this:
The pad itself was still juicy but those dark raised areas were hard and tacky.
I sent the photos to Ranger Customer Service, explained I store my pads with the lids on, horizontally, and in a covered box, away from heat. I asked if they knew what it was and how I could prevent it from happening to my other pads. Ranger told me they were passing the photos onto their chemists for their awareness and asked me to send them a photo of the label and copy of my purchase receipt/or date purchased. I purchased it with the complete set (#4) in July 2018 from Marco's. This was the only pad with an issue.
They also asked me for my mailing address as they are going to send me a new pad.
I wanted to let you all know about this in case any of your pads start acting up.
