Red face Cuttlebug Question

I was told to post here also in hope that I might get an answer to a question. I bought the Sizzix "Clipboard" die cut and am not figuring out how to get it to work. I thought it would go a certain way but then when I tried it it was to thick and it started but was too thick to go all the way through. I was afraid it I cranked it anymore I would break the machine.

Does anyone have this die cut or a similar one that could tell me what I am doing wrong? I would love the help. I looked at the sandwick stack list but I couldn't seem to get one to work. Maybe it is my machine? Anyway I would love the help. Thanks!

Some machines seem to be a bit tighter than others. Try putting your die smack in the middle of your plates, and make sure your plates are lined up exactly with each other. Sometimes if they're off, the stack has a hard time going thru.

Or you can try a few thicknesses of chipboard instead of one of your B plates until you get the right sandwich.

I don't mean to be sassy but this is a mistake I made...are you trying to put it through on the white plate? I did and it didn't quite fit so I emailed Sizzix and was told to take the die off the plate. DUHHHH! to me!! Anyway, just a thought!!

Thanks for all the advice. I ended up calling Provocraft and they told me to just crank it through and they would replace it if it broke. I took a chance and it finally worked. It got a little easier the more I did it. Thanks again!
