I was just using my cuttlebug, and I noticed that on my B plate, the image of the butterfly diecut is etched in it. Did I do something wrong? :-(
Not at all this is what happens each time you use your cuttlebug to cut a die cut out. It is helpful if you flip that B plate that is etched each time you use your machine and dont place the die cut in the same spot all the time. Be sure and spread it around. This is very normal and your plates will still last for a long time. Just be sure and use the same etched plate all the time as the top B plate and you will be fine!! HTH

This is normal. It will need replacing when it effects your cutting but I haven't gotten that far yet and I use it all the time. Surprised and scared me at first too!
