I meant SU MY fingers swell up because of my illness
Aah. I'm sorry about your fingers. :(
If you mean "discussion" thread here in the forums, there are CTMH threads you can find by using the search box. I just conducted a search here on CTMH using "CTMH" as a keyword, and the engine returned these results:
why don't they have a thread for the CTMH like they do for SP?
What would you like to discuss?
The best answer for you is that this board originated for SU people (or so I believe I've read) and while it has maintained that, they have been gracious enough to allow all other stamping companies to come and play.
If you have a question or comment, just put CTMH in the title, and there are several of us who would love to chat your ear off.
I see so many threads that support the supplies for SU most of my colors and stuff are CTMH, I would love to have a thread to chat using the stuff that I work with
Me too!
altho, I"m not at all sure how to go about doing that.
unless we just started chatting in this thread, and kept it active and busy... then it might grow?
I have just received mine. I absolutely ADORE it! Love that bright pink floral stuff.
I plan on making cards, a couple of layouts, and then doing some altering with it.
I'm dying to see what you do with it! I love the ocean, watermelon and hydrangea colors together; I like to use the color combos they have with my matching inks and paper; and I love the ideal books. By the way when are the new ones coming out?
I really like CTMH products. I like that the stamps are clear, so they are easier to work with, but the designs are so much better (i think) in SU. CTMH papers are usually really nice because they are textured. I have a friend who sold CTMH so I bouht some, but recently I got a SU set I was dying to have that was for hostesses only, and I am so happy
I guess what I am saying is that I can chat about either type. they are both great in their own way. but I will say, the markers at SU can not even compare to anyone elses. they are the best!!! I want to get the whole set so bad!! I am going to look on BST, maybe I can find some!
CTMH has the same markers only in their colors
I've used both and they are exactly the same;
only difference is the colors coordinate with their papers and inks
Hi gals,
Just jumping in. I love the June SOTM. I can't wait till mine comes. It's stuck in IL due to the weather. I want the July one too- but I gotta pace myself
I agree! They need to allow us to use their images to make cards and such for re-sell. I'm a consultant but this is one thing I'm hoping they will change.

what images would you use? you may use all the stamps, inks, paper, etc in making things to sell.
I thought as long as you gave credit for the images on the back to CTMH or SU you were allowed to sell your cards. Is that not correct?
that is my understanding from reading the angel policy. There is a particular stamp that CTMH carries that they would like you to use, its a basic copyright stamp.
I will be using this when I sell my goods at a craft show this fall.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that CTMH did not let you sell at a permanent retail location? Ebay is considered a permanent retail location. I think you can still sell at craft fairs as long as you use the copyright stamp on the back.
The following is one of the nicest angel policies I have seen.
________ is an Angel Company. You may sell your hand-stamped projects at craft fairs, in stores and on the internet, however, you may not mechanically or electronically reproduce our images without expressed written consent. You may submit your work to stamping and scrapbooking magazines and they may print those projects without our written*consent as long as proper credit is given to our company in print.
It seems to me in the giving comes the reward or love. Anna Griffin shared a similar view in a magazine recently. Personally seeing all here is to see has created more spending for a variety of different companies. I learned about cuttlebug, Voila, layered matting, etc., which lead to more purchases by me.
We are trying to start a thread for CTMH fans; and it seems to me everyone is jumping in and slamming CTMH, SU has a lot of threads here can't we please have ours TOO?
I don't see where anyone was "slamming" CTMH. I have 2 close friends that sell CTMH, and I love most of the product. Although I am an SU demo, I still buy from them occasionally.
That's the great thing about stamping and papercrafting -- there is such a wide variety, and not one comany will ever carry everything you need (and/or *want*)
In fact, I need to call my friend up and have her mail me a new catalog, I haven't seen the newest one yet. Are there a lot of cool new sets in it?
The part where it says I have to use ONLY CTMH products for the item to be sold. I like to mix stamps from different companies. Not to mention my paper is just from a paper warehouse so it is all different manufacturers. My inks are too. And my watercolours and markers. And pens. Basically everything I have is from all different manufacturers.
Edited to add:
This part:
Any artwork to be sold must not incorporate third-party copyrighted material. The artwork must contain only Close To My Heart designs and the creator's original art.
Also, the part where is says we may not sell over the internet.
Also, I didn't mean to come across as slamming CTMH. I have stamps from when they were still DOTS. I love my DOTS/CTMH images, and I love clear stamps! I was just hoping that someday they might change their angel policy.

I'm new to CTMH... Do I really have to wait until August to get the August SOTM? I REALLY want that stamp set!
I love the look of the paper and can't wait until my 1st order arrives.
If I have a $225 order, do I get 2 SOTM's free?
Is there anything else I should know?
Yeah, unfortunately you will have to wait until Aug, for the Aug, SOTM (if you become a consultant you can get them earlier though, it's a nice perk;))
You can only get one free SOTM per order, so anything over $100 qualifies you for a free SOTM. If you placed 2 separate orders than yes, you could get 2 free SOTM.
HTH
I've been ordering from CTMH since January, but my demo.... well, she gave me a catalog and we meet once a month to place an order. That's it! I would really like a little more information. fastmommie, would you mind letting me know what the June promo is? I read buy 2 get one free. How exactly does it work? Any dollar limits?
