I was so excited... I just opened my Cuttlebug that I got at Michaels for 50% off. Was trying out the die that came in the box - a little stamp (that also included four little embossing folders in the stamp shape).
I did exactly what the instructions said: A - B - die foam side up - cardstock - B. Everything was going great until my fourth cut - SNAP! The edge of the die broke. It's still hanging on by the adhesive on the foam, and it doesn't appear to be broken on the actual cutting part - just the edge of the die frame (did that make sense?).
I'd probably still be able to use the die and get a good cut, but I don't know if it will continue to break more - or break a plate or something. Has this happened to anyone? I searched the ProvoCraft site and didn't see anything on this.
Contact ProvoCraft via their toll free number and request a replacement! A broken, jaggedy edge of a die is dangerous! I've contacted PC via email before and got no response, but when I called them my issue was resolved immediately.
