Default Big Kick or Big Shot

Is there any difference between the Big Kick and the Big Shot machines? I currently use a Big Shot and wondering if I should get a back up. Found a Big Kick for $50.

Thank you for any advice.

I think the shape of the plastic surrounding the rollers is a different shape as well.  But like August29 says, they are the same machine.

Early this year I broke my Big Kick (crushed bearing, my bad ).
It was an upgrade it has a wider platform and longer plates but performs the same. All the plates used in Big Kick work in BS Plus. For more details and comparison review

Thank you August29, fionna51, bohodiva, and iamvics for the information.  Now I will decide whether to spend the $50 or get the larger platform.  Hoping all of you have a good weekend.
