Has anyone ordered from here recently? I am wondering about the "Gold" matching Summer Sun - it sure doesn't look like it would match on their website.
Also, any info on the chocolate chip color?
It does (the summer sun) . I ordered the ribbon chart for 6.50 and it has a tiny sample of every color!:-D

Hey, ladies...just an update here! I got some of the newest samples from The Ribbon Retreat to match to SU colors. I'm not sure how to edit the opening post with the updated info, so I'll have to just post the new matches here. (FYI: Other color match updates are in posts 35, 91, and 94. Sorry...I'm soooo "tech challenged"!). Hope these help!
Brocade Blue= Bluebird (Offray)
Certainly Celery= Limejuice (Offray)
Barely Banana= Banana Cream
Pumpkin Pie= Ginger (Offray)-a *bit* darker, but I was happy to finally find a match!
Cameo Coral= Dark Coral or Nora (Nora is the best match IMO)
Pretty in Pink= Baby Pink
As I said before, many other colors would coordinate well, but these were pretty much *exact* matches. If anyone has any questions about other matches, feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to look for you! Enjoy!!

Jamie....... you should be able to edit that first post with this and any other info .... at the very bottom right of the post there should be an "edit" button next to the quote and arrow.

Thanks for doing the spreadsheet!! And, yes, Offray is a brand. If I didn't note that the color is an Offray color, then it is a Schiff brand. They carry both. HTH

Just a note...I have a ribbon site that I've ordered from in the past -- http://www.reasonableribbon.com/ -- the prices are fabulous! I found the shipping prices very reasonable, but then I don't order that much from them. There are a few SU! color matches ---- there is a special area for that.

Let me rephrase that....I don't order often, but then I usually make my order BIG so I don't have to reorder too quickly. LOL! Sorry, I don't always express myself well.
And the SU! ribbon is in the "demonstrator" area. Should have been a bit more detailed.
Gotta give props to Heidi and PinkHedgeHog Crafts!!!! She took time to answer my numerous questions and the product definitely did NOT disappoint!!! The ribbon quality is excellent and matches SU colours as promised. The brads also match great!!! All that plus shipping was very reasonable - even to Canada. I would definitely recommend her to friends and I will definitely be ordering from her again!! Can't say enough good stuff about them!!!

Nothing at all against Ribbon Retreat, because I haven't ordered from there yet, but I can also provide high praise for Pinkhedgehog. Heidi was great to work with when I needed a match for SU's Perfect Plum. She found the 7/8" satin that I needed on pretty short notice for wedding favors.
Does anyone have a list of what ribbon matches TAC ribbons? I have found some at www.reallyreasonableribbon.com (they have TAC, CTMH and SU demo sites) but they don't have all of them. Unfortunately, TAC onlys sells these in groups of 1 yard each and I like to make my cards in bulk and use much more than one yard!

Sorry that 2 of your ribbons weren't good matches for SU colors. How about splitting cutting some of it into 2yd or so lengths & gifting some of it to a couple friends?

I'm sure I'll use the ribbon - the quality is great and I like the colors [just not next to my SU cardstock]. It's just disappointing after reading so many posts that said that PHH's ribbon matched **exactly** - I guess my expectations were set too high. My fault for not ordering samples before I placed an order.

I talked to Heidi today and found out that she is updating her color chart after finding some errors. That should be available shortly. Also, she is changing the quanity of ribbon yards from 10 to 5 in the near future. I see that the preorders for the Satin ribbons are already listed in 5, 2.5 and 1 yard increments and the rest will be switched over soon.

Does anyone have this file in a format other than Xcel. I can't get this to open. I tried to download it a couple times, one time it said the file was corrupt, and now I got it downloaded and I still can't get it to open. I am pulling my hair out. Any one who can help would be really appreciated.

I bought about 10 diff. colors from the ribbon retreat using the chart here and I was very pleased with the matches. I will definitely order again when I get low....

Does anyone know if RABOM has any colors that match the current In Colrs?
I have a couple matches from The Ribbon Retreat (another good place to find SU matching ribbon!) If you look closely, you'll see many similar names/colors. One thing I like about TRR is that I can get 100 yds for a ridiculously low price. Okay, so will I really use 100 yds? This is available on the wholesale site - no tax ID required.
Location: not too far from the big mountain in n.h.

I have ordered from the Ribbon Retreat and was very happy with the ribbon. It does indeed match the stampin' up colors (sometimes even better match than stampin' up!) The service was great too. I will definitely order from them again.
