Qbee's Happy House Template
Here's a house that everyone can afford. I just designed this house template and I thought I would share it with everyone. There are many different things you could do with this house template. Some of the ideas that I envision are a gingerbread house, a haunted house, a dog house, an all in the family (Stampin' Up! stamp set) house. The house template opens at the top allowing for a small gift or candy to be placed inside. If you will be turning your house into an ornament like mine, you can cut off the topmost tabs and the ribbon will hold the roof together for you.
You can view a photo of my Merry Bird House here:
Merry Bird House by Qbee at Splitcoaststampers
My template is available for PDF download below
Dimensions
- 3-1/2” at its tallest
- 2” wide (front)
- 2-1/2” deep (side).
- roof pieces 2” x 3” (adhered on top of the template)
HAVE FUN CREATING and please post a link to this thread and show us what you have created with it. I would love to see what you come up with.

Another 'out of town husband' tomorrow! Gotta make some of these. How cute would these be hanging on the Christmas tree for a party and tell everyone to take one as they leave? Have to see what will fit inside once I make one. Ohhhh, I love this little house! Thanks for sharing.

I printed out about a dozen and I am putting gift cards in them for Christmas!! And, they will decorate my house!! I figured out how to tie the roof on so it can be untied and open up...this little house has become addictive for me!

I love the gift card idea. I just tried it and it works (albeit a little snugly), if you print my template at 100%. It fits in vertically. You could also make my template slightly larger if you chose the "fit to page" option when printing the template out.

What a great idea about hanging these little houses on tree for everyone to take. If you do this, you'll have to take a picture and share it with us. This would be too cute.

Ok- so I did 6 of them and forgot to take pictures! The adults were very impressed; the 8 and 10 year old boys--ehh, not so much. They found out how to rip it fast!

Splitcoaststampers (SCS) migrated their servers to a new location last week. The links to PDF files are currently not working. SCS is aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. Hopefully we will have the files back soon.
