I've had some stampers ask me about the frames I use for these calendars... The ones I use are plastic sleeves with a magnetic back. You can find them at Michael's on an end-cap, where the rest of the photo frames are found. Here's a picture to help you recognize them.
Look what I finally figured out how to do!!!!!!! You lucky ladies. I apologize I can't give credit where credit is due--I don't remember where I got this template. Enjoy--Peggy
TearOff CalendarI use this for a 4x6 frame. Using the template you print two calendars on three sheets of regular paper. Be sure to review carefully before cutting, as several months have six weeks instead of five, so you want to make sure you dont cut the months too short.
You cut 2 off the right margin, then cut the page in half vertically between the months at 3.25, the month should be centered. Then cut the months at 2.5
The actual calendar is 3/25 wide by 2/5 tall. This fits into a 4x6 acrylic frame (can purchase at Michaels)

Is the frame the typical hard plastic that you would insert a photo and put on the fridge? You see them all the time. And,
Are the tear-off calendar pages inside the frame or on the outside. I can't understand this is as confusing as it seems. I must be missing something.
thanks for helping a newbie to SCS.
Terry
Hi Terry (and welcome to SCS!) - you can use the hard plastic frames, but the one's I used are a soft plastic; they are more like a plastic sleeve (think heavy page protector), with a magnetic back.
The tear-off calendar goes on the inside of the frame, mounted to your decorated cardstock. If you use a low-grade printer paper, the calendar isn't too thick once all the months are stacked.
Peg - I'm glad you like my calendar template! You'll find more information, including links to sample calendars in my thread here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Hi, so glad to connect with you. I appreciate sooooo much the wonderful template you shared. It is such a great project. Thanks for all the work you did to make this calendar possible. Peggy

I printed out the 2007 calendar as I had wanted to make next years calendar. many thanks these. these me alot. now to get my rubberstamps and stamps away.
At Micheal's I found a long plastic frame which was about 10 inches long and about 3 1/2 in height if you place the frame down so it sits at an angle it makes a great desk calendar holder and stick note pad holder. I decorated the cs and slid it inside and place the stick notes on one side and a mini calendar on the other. The way I hold the calender in place is stick a square of magnetic sheet to frame and then I just put another piece on top of the last page of the Calendar to hold it in place. It works well and looks great. Sorry I don't have a pic yet.

Ok - NO FAIR Mrs Ruby We wanna see one! It sounds really creative!
This is my first post but I have been working to resize a template and I wanted to share. I am printing the calendar months on white card stock and adhering to a colored background. The colored background is 3 1/4" square and the white month is 3" square. I have 3 months on each file for two calendars. I have allowed about 1" space at the top for stamping (of course).
I can't open this!!! Please, please.....................
Is it another mode - like 'acrobat reader' or microsoft word???
It's coming in as 'power point' AND 'power point is not playing fair.
I would appreciate any help - thank you

MissyTerry - read my post (#5) which will link you to the thread where I originally posted this template. That thread includes both PDF and Excel files!
If you still have a problem downloading, send me a PM.
Thanks so much forthis! I made a bunch to send to my kids' school for their Christmas Store fundraiser! And my kids bugged me for one of their own also...
Thanks for doing this! This is wonderful! I love being able to work on my holiday gifts EARLY! Since I have moved a few times (and another is pending!), I like to send a bit more than just a card to my old stamping buddies across the country!
