using glitter on edges
I bought some fine cut glitter last year at JoAnns super store, I got it at a good price and at the time, I thoought I knew how to use it. there must be 12 or 15 colors in the set. I am making some of those 1/2 circle folded Christmas trees and want to use some on the edgtes of the paper. I don't remember what technique to use, to get it to stick. I have probably all of the stuff needed, including an embossing gun, just need to know how to do it. Any help most appreciated.

run the edges through some glue. Put a small glob of glue on your craftmat and run the edges through it, sprinkle with glitter. You can also use a glue pen and just run that on the edges and sprinkle with glitter.

Another option is to use embossing ink (or pigment ink) with glue and stick embossing powder. And if you really want control over where the glue and stick powder will be, you could use an embossing ink pen (Ranger has a Perfect Medium embossing pen) because then you can be precise re: where you apply the embossing ink. You use the glue and stick powder just like any other embossing powder. Heat until it melts (don't overheat it), then apply the glitter to the melted heat and stick powder. You can heat the area that you glittered it again for 'extra stick' - some say the second heating is not necessary - I say try it both ways and do what works for you.
