Default Using a Dryer Sheet on a Card

Anyone done this before? Are there any pictures of this technique that you have seen?

I haven't seen a dryer sheet, but I have seen a sample of a paper towel and it looked really nice, gave the card a soft look! Make sure you post your card if you make one, that would be great for all to see!

Yes, I posted a sample & instructions in my gallery.

You can also read this thread for what others have done w/dryer sheets.

I use dryer sheets all the time. They make your card smell great! Use lots and lots of tape to make it stick. Tear the edges to give it a soft look, and use it as a background. I love it with my stipple hydrangea stamp.

Default dryer sheets

I have used dryer sheets on my cards, but I make sure they are "used" ones so they have a fuzzier, softer feel to them. Plus if anyone has sensitive skin, having the dryer sheets "used" will help prevent breakouts or hives.
I like to stamp with the Snowflakes set on white card stock then stick the dryer sheet on using spray adhesive. Then I cut around the edges and place on coordinating colors. Looks fantastic and eveyone wonders how it is done! Any bold stamp sets stand out nicely...especially Christmas or winter sets.
Have fun.

Default dryer sheets

Oops, almost forgot...
If you put about 10 dryer sheets in the dryer with a few towels, you will get the perfect "texture" for your "used" dryer sheets...especially if you run out of them from using them so much!

Gardenstamper,

When you use the Snowflake Set, you stamp in colour, then put the Bounce sheet overtop? And what kind of spray adhesive? I'm new at this!!
Thx!
