I have some Tim Holtz alcohol inks and I also have the blending tool as well as the blending liquids. How do I use them all to make backgrounds for cards?

The tutorial for the Polished Stone technique (Polished Stone™ Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers) will give you great photos and step-by-step instructions. It uses dye-based reinkers instead of Alcohol Inks and rubbing alcohol instead of Blending Solution. A cotton puff was substituted for the blending tool. Here is a sample from my gallery:

Happy Crafting!

PS - My favorite AI colors are Butterscotch, Wild Plum, and Red Pepper.
PSS - If you prefer more vibrant colors Pinata also makes alcohol inks. I haven't seen them in person but hope to someday (ideally on a day I have miney to spend LOL).
