Could someone share how to make a mini tassel that attaches to a grad cap on a card???

I haven't made tassles since I was a kid. But here's what I remember.

Get a piece of card a little bit longer than what you want the tassle because there's the round part before the tassle part.

Wind your thread around the cardboard in circles until you feel you have enough thread.

Then at the top take a piece of thread and tie it around the thread on the top to make the hanger part.

Take it off of the cardboard.

Tie another piece of thread around the string where you want the round part.

Then cut the string at the bottom of the loop to make it no longer a circle.

I'm not very good at explaining things so maybe someone else can make this clearer?

Last year at about this time, I found the perfect size mini tassles at Michael's. There were three per card and they were 99cents per card. They came in tons of colors so if you had grad's from different schools, with different colors. I didn't have the time to make any last year, and thought that 33cents apiece wasn't too terribly bad.
