Stamping on tiles

I've been searching for a turtorial for stamping and baking the tile coasters. does anyone know where I might find this?

I've used Stazon in a class, it seems to hold up well for just display, have not tried it as a coaster. Several mention the stazon does not hold up if something is spilled on it.

If anyone has some suggestions please PM me or email to [email protected]

Thanks,

i didn't know you could bake them, someone is making them for my swap, and she just sprayed them with polyurethane i think.

Stazon is a permanent ink. Regular water moisture will not effect the stazon. I use either SU's craft inks or permanent markers to color stamped images. I seal with a very light coat of matte acrylic sealer. I like the matte because it seals but allows the tile to retain it's "natural" finish.

Thanks,

What kind of tiles are you using? The 'tumbled' tiles work very well. I used StazOn, baked for 20 minutes in a 250 oven, and have not had any problems. I have one of my 'rejects' (aka, image not so great) at my craft desk and it's been used many, many times and still looks like new.
