stamping on tile

I have stamped on tile and didn't bake them and they worked great. I used Stazon Ink and put felt on the back. I have a friend who is a teacher and she had her class do them for gifts for Fathers Day. They were very cute. I use the cheap or discontinued tiles, my DD was told that you had to use the unfinished ones (no shine) but we used the finished kind and they worked out fine. I only paid .12 each for the tile so they were cheap gifts.

I did some tile coasters for Mother's Day. My SU Demo said to get "tumbled marble" tiles from Lowe's, etc. They are in the flooring section. I also used Stayzon ink and then colored them in with Fabrico markers. But I know that you can use Sharpies also, but you have to watch the tips as they will pick us the Stayzon (clean like you do a blender pen). Also, didn't have to bake them and I backed them with some cork.
