I tried this tecnhique last night on two different sizes of the scallop punched paper (only thing I could think of to use that I own). This was so simple and so fun to do. I practiced with just a spool of thread just to see how it will turn out. I made several. Depending on where you start the wrapping you can definitely get many different looks. Now I am ready to use prettier material and incorporate into a card.
Not too sure if you would have checked the gallery, but I stumbled upon this card a while back. It is really cool, cuz she did Spirelli in one corner and Faux Spirelli in the other. She has directions under the card.
Spellbinder's makes a Pinking circle set. But if you want a punch, use the SU scallop circle. Punch out the scallop. Then stick that to a piece of scrap paper and repunch in the gutters. Remove the scrap paper and you're done!
